James Sexton

James has worked, played, recorded, & performed live with a countless number of artists in many different genres of music. He's been everything from the house drummer at the world famous B.B. Kings on Beale St. to the main percussionist for the Bountiful Blessings COGIC Orchestra, under the late Bishop G.E. Patterson. Notable artists that he's worked with includes Mulgrew Miller, Donald Brown, George Duke, Marcus Miller, Garry Goin, Kirk Whalum, John Stoddart, Ben Tankard, Anthony Brown, En Vogue, and many more.

Currently, James is an instructor at the Academy of the Percussive Arts, drummer for the Garry Goin Group, house drummer for the Memphis Grizzlies, & the drummer/musical director, for Garry Goin Presents 'American Vinyl', produced by Pinnacle Ent.  He is also currently on tour, performing with an orchestra, 'Elvis Live In Concert' ,by Graceland.
